About “Lyon Tablet”
The Lyon Tablet is an ancient bronze tablet that contains a transcript of a speech delivered by the Roman emperor Claudius. A portion of the tablet was found in 1528 by a draper in his vineyard on Croix-Rousse Hill in Lyon, France. The surviving section is now housed in the Gallo-Roman Museum of Lyon, which is also known as Lugdunum.
