Magic Knight Rayearth is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Clamp. It was first published as a serial in the manga magazine Nakayoshi, running from the November 1993 issue to the February 1995 issue. The chapters were later compiled into three bound volumes by Kodansha, released between July 1994 and March 1995. A sequel was also serialized in Nakayoshi, beginning with the March 1995 issue and ending with the April 1996 issue.
