About “Mahan Kosh”

Guru Shabad Ratnakar Mahan Kosh, also known as Mahan Kosh or Encyclopædia of the Sikh Literature, is a Punjabi language encyclopedia and dictionary compiled by Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha. It was published in 1930 after being worked on for fourteen years. The work contains around 65,000 words and includes references from Sikh texts such as Guru Granth Sahib, Dasam Granth, and Gur Pratap Suraj Granth.
