About “Maken-ki”
Maken-ki! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiromitsu Takeda. It was first published in Dragon Age Pure, a magazine by Fujimi Shobo, and later in Monthly Dragon Age after the first magazine stopped publishing. The series was adapted into an anime by AIC, which aired on Tokyo MX in the fall of 2011. In North America, it was licensed by Crunchyroll under the title Maken-ki! Battling Venus. Two OVA episodes were produced by AIC and Xebec, released on February 29, 2012, and September 25, 2013, and bundled with the eighth and eleventh manga volumes. A second season, Maken-ki!
