Kate Svenson, a businesswoman who has experienced three failed engagements, creates a Business Plan to find a romantic partner and travels to The Cabins resort, which is populated by wealthy and ambitious bachelors. As the eligible men begin dying under mysterious circumstances, Jake Templeton, a man who has sworn off ambition, becomes convinced that Kate is trouble, particularly for him, despite their differing outlooks on life and success.
