John and Jenny Grogan began their life together with a perfect house and no worries. They adopted Marley, a playful yellow puppy, who quickly grew into a large, energetic Labrador. Marley caused chaos with his destructive behavior, including damaging furniture and stealing items. He was expelled from obedience school and given tranquilizers, but his mischievous nature remained. Despite his antics, Marley showed deep love and loyalty. He was present during major life events, including a miscarriage and the birth of their children. He also made a brief appearance in a movie. Marley's presence taught the family about unconditional love. The story explores whether a dog's love can lead to happiness.
