Maurice is a novel by E. M. Forster. It explores homosexual love in early 20th-century England through the life of its protagonist, Maurice Hall. The story follows him from his time at school through university and into adulthood. The novel was first written between 1913 and 1914, and later revised in 1932 and again between 1959 and 1960.
