Mickey7 is a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim, called on for missions too dangerous or suicidal for others. When one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact. Mickey signed on to escape bad debts and boredom, and after six deaths understands the terms of his deal.
