About “National Anthem of Uruguay”
The "Himno Nacional del Uruguay," also known as "Orientales, la Patria o la Tumba," is the longest national anthem in terms of musical structure, consisting of 105 bars. It typically takes between four-and-a-half to six minutes to perform in its entirety. However, in modern times, only the chorus is usually sung during public events, such as before sporting competitions. The anthem represents the national identity of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.
