About “Natsume's Book of Friends”
Natsume's Book of Friends is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Midorikawa. It first appeared in Hakusensha's shōjo manga magazine LaLa DX in June 2003 and ran until April 2008. The series continued to be serialized in LaLa starting in July 2007. As of April 2026, the manga has been collected into 33 tankōbon volumes.
