The Jackson family vacations annually at a Victorian house on Gull Island, where young Beau and his cousins, including Sumter, discover a hidden shack in the woods they name "Neverland." The children's imaginative games, centered around a shadowy entity Sumter calls "Lucy," escalate into disturbing rituals and sacrifices, ultimately summoning a nightmarish presence that transforms the island into a place of terror.
