About “Neverwhere”

Neverwhere is a novel written by Neil Gaiman, based on the television serial of the same name. It follows the same plot and characters as the series but includes additional details and expansions from Gaiman's original vision. One major difference is the setting of the Floating Market, which appears at Harrods instead of under Battersea power station. This change was due to Harrods' decision to stop filming at the power station. The novel was published by BBC Books in 1996, early in the television series' run. It was released with a spoken word CD and cassette. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
