About “Nimed marmortahvlil”
Names in Marble is an Estonian war novel written by Albert Kivikas. It was published in 1936 and focuses on the Estonian War of Independence. The novel earned Kivikas an award from the Estonian Literature Society and is considered one of the most well-known works in Estonian literature. A film adaptation of the novel was released in 2002.
