About “Nobunagun”
Nobunagun is a manga series written and illustrated by Masato Hisa. It was serialized in Comic Earth Star from May 2011 to August 2015 and later collected into six tankōbon volumes. The story centers on Sio Ogura, a high schoolgirl who discovers she is an E-Gene Holder, a reincarnation of the historical figure Nobunaga Oda. She joins the Defense Organization Against Outer Objects (DOGOO), an organization that fights an alien species called Evolutionary Invaders. An anime adaptation by studio Bridge aired in Japan from January 5, 2014, to March 30, 2014. The anime was later made available on Crunchyroll and Funimation with English subtitles.
