About “Norwood”

Norwood Pratt, an ex-marine and troubadour, travels from Ralph, Texas, on a mission to New York for Grady Fring, the Kredit King, expecting a journey filled with adventure and sightseeing. Instead, he becomes involved in a series of events that include stolen cars, freight trains, and buses, during which he meets Rita Lee, Edmund B. Ratner, and Joann, a chicken with a college education.
