Oriental Tales is a 1938 short story collection by Belgian writer Marguerite Yourcenar. The stories use a self-consciously mythological style, drawing from existing myths and legends or creating new ones. One of the stories, "How Wang-Fo Was Saved," was adapted into an animated short film by René Laloux in the 1980s. The collection reflects Yourcenar's interest in myth and storytelling.
