About “Oʻtkan kunlar”
Bygone Days is a 1925 Uzbek-language novel written by Abdulla Qodiriy, regarded as the first Uzbek novel. It was first published in installments in the magazine Inqilob between 1922 and 1925. The story was later adapted into a film titled Bygone Days, produced by Uzbekfilm in 1969. Qodiriy drew inspiration from the works of the Lebanese writer Jurji Zaydan.
