About “On the Heavens”
On the Heavens is a cosmological treatise written by Aristotle in 350 BCE. It presents his astronomical theory and explains his understanding of the physical world. The work is distinct from a later, fraudulent text also titled On the Universe. Aristotle's On the Heavens focuses on the structure and motion of the heavens, as well as the nature of the terrestrial elements.
