About “Orpheus no Mado”
The Window of Orpheus is a Japanese shōjo manga and historical romance series created by Riyoko Ikeda. It was originally published by Shueisha in two formats: first in Weekly Margaret from 1975 to 1976, and then in Monthly Seventeen from 1977 to 1981. The story was partially adapted into a Takarazuka Revue musical titled The Window of Orpheus - Story of Isaak, but this adaptation does not include the entire narrative. The manga is known for its romantic and historical elements, and it remains a significant work in Ikeda’s career. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
