About “Palatine Anthology”

The Palatine Anthology, also known as AP, is a manuscript collection of Greek poems and epigrams found in 1606 at the Palatine Library in Heidelberg. It is derived from the lost collection of Constantine Kephalas from the 10th century, which itself was based on earlier anthologies. The collection includes works from the 7th century BC up to 600 AD. Later, it became the core of the Greek Anthology, which also incorporated the Anthology of Planudes and additional material.
