About “Pan Tadeusz”
Pan Tadeusz is an epic poem written by the Polish poet, writer, translator, and philosopher Adam Mickiewicz. Composed in Polish alexandrines, the poem was first published on 28 June 1834 in Paris by Aleksander Jełowicki. It is recognized as one of the last major epic poems in European literature.
