About “Pioniere in Ingolstadt”
Pioneers in Ingolstadt is a play written by German playwright Marieluise Fleißer. It premiered on 25 March 1928 in Dresden and is set in 1926. The play is a comedy divided into 14 scenes and is based on real incidents. Fleißer collaborated with Bertolt Brecht on the work. The play was revised and produced again in March and April 1929 at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm in Berlin, directed by Brecht and Jacob Geis, with set design by Caspar Neher.
