Planetes is a Japanese hard science fiction manga written and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Morning from January 1999 to January 2004, and later collected into four tankōbon volumes. The story is set in the year 2075 and follows the crew of a space debris collection craft.
