About “Pleading guilty”

Pleading Guilty is set in Kindle County and follows McCormack A. "Mack" Malloy, a fiftyish former police officer and partner at the law firm Gage & Griswell, who is assigned by the firm's Oversight Committee to locate Bert Kamin, a missing star litigator, and recover $5.6 million that has disappeared from a fund meant to settle a class-action suit against TransNational Airlines. Mack's investigation leads him into the firm's internal politics, the city's underbelly, and encounters with former associates and suspects, including a cold corpse and the elusive Kam Roberts.
