About “Principles of Economics (Mankiw)”
Principles of Economics is an introductory economics textbook written by N. Gregory Mankiw, a Harvard economics professor. First published in 1997, it has gone through ten editions as of 2024. The book was widely anticipated before its release, partly due to the large advance Mankiw received from its publisher, Harcourt. It has sold over a million copies and generated at least $42 million in royalties for Mankiw.
