About “Principles of Economics”
Principles of Economics is a foundational economics textbook written by Alfred Marshall and first published in 1890. It became the standard text for economics students for many years. The book is considered Marshall's magnum opus and went through eight editions by 1920. A ninth edition, known as the variorum edition, was published in 1961 in two volumes, edited by C. W.
