About “Raag Darbari”
Rangnath arrives in Shivpalganj to visit his uncle Valdyaji, a powerful figure in the village who runs the grain cooperative and the intermediate college. The college is experiencing a rebellion among its teachers, and Ramadhin, Valdyaji's opponent, is determined to win control of the village council. The story focuses on factional conflicts, political maneuvering, and corruption. Rangnath, unprepared for the reality of village life, finds his academic knowledge useless in the face of the turmoil around him.
