About “Ranganatha Ramayanamu”
Sri Ranganatha Ramayanamu is a Telugu version of Valmiki's Rāmāyaṇa. It was written by the poet Ranganatha, also known as Gona Budda Reddy, between 1300 and 1310 CE. The work consists of 17,290 couplets and is composed in a lyrical metre. This style allows the text to be either recited or sung, similar to other adaptations of the Ramayana.
