About “Reine Rechtslehre”

Pure Theory of Law is a non-fiction work by jurist and legal theorist Hans Kelsen. First published in German in 1934 under the title Reine Rechtslehre, it was later revised and expanded, with the second edition released in 1960. The expanded version was translated into English in 1967 and published under the same title. The book presents Kelsen's general theory of law, which he refers to as Reine Rechtslehre. It outlines his approach to understanding law as a system of norms, independent of moral or political considerations. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
