Réquiem por un campesino español is a short novel by Ramón J. Sender, one of the most important Spanish novelists of the postwar period in exile. It was first published in 1953 in Mexico under the title Mosén Millán. It was later renamed Réquiem por un campesino español in 1960. The novel was published in Mexico due to the censorship imposed in Spain during Francisco Franco's dictatorship. It was later listed as one of the 100 best Spanish novels of the 20th century by the newspaper El Mundo.
