About “Rideback”
Rideback is a Japanese manga series created by Tetsurō Kasahara. It was published in Shogakukan's Monthly Ikki magazine from April 2003 to October 2008, and later compiled into ten tankōbon volumes. The story is set in Japan during the 2020s and follows college student Rin Ogata after she discovers a two-wheeled automobile robot called a Rideback. The manga was adapted into an anime series by Madhouse, which aired 12 episodes from January to March 2009. In North America, the anime was licensed by Funimation for an English release.
