About “Right as Rain”

Derek Strange is a black ex-cop in Washington D.C. who runs a private detective agency and is hired to investigate the killing of an off-duty black policeman by a white police officer, an incident officially ruled accidental but raising questions about racism within the police force. As Strange and the white officer, Terry Quinn, work together, they navigate a dangerous crime scene, confront powerful drug traffickers, and face ruthless killers while uncovering the truth behind the fatal encounter.
