About “ROOKIES”
Rookies is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Masanori Morita. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 1998 to August 2003, and later collected in 24 tankōbon volumes. The series was adapted into a television show that aired on TBS from April 19, 2008, to July 26, 2008. A soundtrack was released on June 28, 2008, and the DVD was published by TC Entertainment. The TV series concluded with a film titled Rookies: Graduation, which premiered in Japanese cinemas on May 31, 2009. The manga is one of the best-selling series, with over 21 million copies sold.
