Sahih al-Bukhari, formally Al-Jami' al-Musnad al-Sahih al-Mukhtasar min Umur Rasul Allah, is the first hadith collection among the Six Books of Sunni Islam. Compiled by the Islamic scholar al-Bukhari in the musannaf format, it is regarded by Sunni Muslims, alongside Sahih Muslim, as the most authentic Islamic text after the Qur'an.
