About “Saki”
Saki is a Japanese manga series created by Ritz Kobayashi. It follows Saki Miyanaga, a first-year high school girl who enters the competitive world of mahjong with the help of her classmate, Nodoka Haramura. The series was first published in Young Gangan magazine on February 3, 2006. It was later adapted into an anime by Gonzo, which aired in 2009.
