About “Sakura Diaries”
Sakura Diaries is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by U-Jin. It was serialized in Weekly Young Sunday, a seinen manga magazine published by Shogakukan, from 1995 to 2000. The story is collected in twenty tankōbon volumes. The series follows a boy who cannot enter a prestigious university. To impress a girl, he pretends to be a student there. He ends up attending cram school and living with his cousin, who is in love with him. The manga was adapted into a 12-episode original video animation series.
