About “Seerat-e Mustafa”
Seerat-e Mustafa is a 20th-century prophetic biography written in Urdu by Muhammad Idris Kandhlawi. The work is based on authentic narrations and follows a classical style similar to primary Arabic sources. It responds to Siratun Nabi by Shibli Nomani, questioning some of the theories presented by Syed Ahmad Khan and Shibli Nomani. The book avoids Western-influenced perspectives and addresses objections to different parts of the prophetic biography in a systematic manner. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
