About “Shōbōgenzō Zuimonki”
Shōbōgenzō Zuimonki, also known as The Treasury of the True Dharma Eye: Record of Things Heard, is a collection of informal Dharma talks. These talks were given by the 13th century Sōtō Zen monk Eihei Dōgen and recorded by his primary disciple, Koun Ejō, between 1236 and 1239. The text was likely edited by other disciples after Ejō's death. It provides insights into Dōgen's teachings and Zen practice. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
