About “Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū”
Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruko Kumota. It was serialized in Kodansha's Josei magazine Itan from 2010 to 2016 and later collected into ten volumes. The manga was published in North America by Kodansha USA. It was adapted into two original video animations by Studio Deen, released with special editions of the seventh and eighth manga volumes in 2015. An anime television series based on the manga aired from January to April 2016, followed by a second season from January to March 2017.
