About “Shahnama-yi Al-i Osman”
The Shahnama-yi Al-i Osman is a 1558 Ottoman historical work written in Persian. It covers universal and Islamic history and was composed in five volumes by Fethullah Arif, an Ottoman writer and court eulogist. The work was created for Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, who was the patron. Today, only three of the original five volumes survive. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
