The Shanghan Lun, also known in English as the Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases, Disorders, or Injury, is part of the Shanghan Zabing Lun, a Traditional Chinese medicine treatise compiled by Zhang Zhongjing (150-219 CE) before 220 AD, at the end of the Han dynasty. It is among the oldest complete clinical textbooks in the world, and is one of four canonical works of Traditional Chinese medicine, alongside Huang Di Nei Jing, Jin Gui Yao Lue, and Wen Bing Xue.
