About “Shi san jing zhu shu”

The Shisan Jing Zhushu is a renowned Qing dynasty collection of the Thirteen Classics of Chinese literature. It was edited by the scholar Ruan Yuan, who lived from 1764 to 1849. The collection compares various editions of each classic and includes commentaries from scholars. Ruan Yuan's version is regarded as the most thorough and was first published in 1815.
