About “Shuna's Journey”
Shuna's Journey is a one-volume watercolor-illustrated emonogatari written and illustrated by Hayao Miyazaki. It was published on 15 June 1983, by Tokuma Shoten under the Animage Ju Ju Bunko imprint. The story was adapted into a 60-minute radio drama that aired on NHK FM in Japan on 2 May 1987. In February 2022, First Second Books licensed the title, and an English-language edition, translated by Alex Dudok de Wit, was released in the United States on 1 November 2022.
