About “Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda”

Simon Spier, a sixteen-year-old who is gay but not openly so, finds his life turned upside down when an email is leaked. He is forced to act as a wingman for his classmate Martin or risk his secret being exposed. Simon is also worried about protecting the identity of Blue, the boy he has been secretly emailing. As his friendships become strained and his relationship with Blue deepens, Simon must navigate the challenges of his junior year. He faces the difficult choice of staying safe or taking a risk to be true to himself and find love.
