About “Sphinx”

Sphinx is a 1979 novel by Robin Cook. The story follows Erica Baron, a young American Egyptologist on a working vacation in Egypt. While in Cairo, she encounters an ancient statue of Seti I in a market, which draws her into a dangerous situation involving intrigue.
