About “Spiritual Meadow”
The Spiritual Meadow is a Greek book by John Moschus, written in the late sixth to early seventh century. It consists of anecdotes from Palestinian and Egyptian monasteries gathered during John's travels with his friend Sophronius as they sought spiritual edification, containing several hundred narratives, biographies, and collections of sayings.
