About “Star Trek - Renegade”

For nearly a hundred years, the planet Chrellkan IV maintained peaceful relations with the colony on Chrellkan III. However, the relationship turns violent when rebel colonists on Chrellkan III turn against their mother world. Starfleet sends Captain Kirk and the Enterprise to mediate the conflict. Kirk sends Spock and McCoy to investigate the rebels' claims, but they are taken hostage and later reported dead by sensors. Heartbroken, Kirk investigates the rebellion and uncovers a dangerous plot against the Federation. The plot is motivated by revenge and seeks to use the Prime Directive as a tool for violence and destruction.
