About “Statutes of the Ming Dynasty”
The Collected Statutes of the Ming Dynasty, also called Collected Regulations of the Great Ming, is a five-volume compilation of Ming dynasty (1368-1644) regulations and procedures. Begun by Xu Pu (1429-1499), the project was continued after his death by Li Dongyang (1447-1516) and Shen Shixing. It took 11 years to complete and was published in 1509.
