About “Stingaree”
Stingaree is a master of disguises who pretends to be the renowned British composer, Sir Julian Kent, at the house of the wealthy Mr and Mrs Hugh Clarkson in Australia. He meets Hilda Bouverie, a servant girl who dreams of being an opera singer, and after being discovered as an impostor, escapes with her to his hideout, where he realizes he loves her, while his exploits lead to a shooting and his arrest.
