About “Sukhmani Sahib”

Sukhmani Sahib, also known as Gauri Sukhmani, is a set of 192 padas found in the Guru Granth Sahib, the main scripture of Sikhism. It is located between Ang 262 and Ang 296 in the scripture. The text was composed by the fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan, in 1602 in Amritsar. Guru Arjan first recited this bani at Gurdwara Barth Sahib in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab, India.
